THE EXORCIST: Liam Neeson will not be starring in the next installment of THE EXORCIST. He has been forced to drop out due to
scheduling difficulties. However, Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard will replace Neeson as the project begins shooting in November in
Morocco before moving to England. Paul Schrader is directing the prequel; Gabriel Mann and Billy Crawford continue to be attached to
the project, which traces the story of Father Merrin (Skarsgard) and his first encounter with the devil while doing missionary work in
post-World War II Africa. While there, Merrin suffers from the horrors of war and loses his faith. When he meets the devil, he has to fight to save his beliefs.
BUFFY: There are some great new pictures from the season opener of BUFFY at < a href="http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0208/31/index.htm"> http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0208/31/index.htm. Yes,
Giles is back and ready to help Willow.
MUTANT X: http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0208/31/index.htm
ComicsContinuum has more pictures from the second episode of MUTANT X "Time Squared". There are a number of changes ahead for our

INSIDE SCIFI THIS WEEK:
Friday, August 30: RATINGS: Top 10 SF Network Shows: Alias 2.5; Futurama 2.2; Smallville 2.0; Sabrina 1.9; The X-Files 1.7;
Enterprise 1.7; Buffy 1.4; Charmed 1.3; Touched by an Angel 1.1, and Angel 0.9. Source: Nielsen Galaxy Report,
7/29/02 - 8/4/02.
SMALLVILLE/JUSTICE LEAGUE: A lot of people are talking about what we can expect from SMALLVILLE this year. What
about Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum)? We know he eventually becomes evil, but when will we see that in the young Lex? Michael
Rosenbaum told SCI FI Wire that "Lex Luthor's taking baby steps to becoming evil. Ot's going to take some time, but Clark [Tom
Welling] and Lex's relationship built up, and there's something that goes on with the spaceship. That's all I'm going to tell you."
Michael continues his work on the animated Cartoon Network series JUSTICE LEAGUE, but says the two DC Comics properties never
overlap. "It's two totally different things," he said. "It's nice. I like Justice League, because of the anonymity. It's sitting down with a
whole bunch of great actors. You don't have to dress up. You just come in with a five o'clock shadow, feeling like crap, and you sit in
front a microphone. You read, you laugh, you just drink some water and do these characters. It's fun." Smallville returns to its Tuesday
9 p.m. timeslot on Sept. 24.
HARRY POTTER: There is some speculation about Richard Harris being replaced as Prof. Albus Dumbledore in the third
Harry Potter film. Harris was recently admitted to a London hospital suffering from pneumonia. Harris has completed filming of the
second Harry Potter film, The Chamber of Secrets, but a double was needed for some scenes. A decision will be made by Warner
Brothers next month regarding the next movie, The Prisoner of Azkaban. Shooting begins in January.
ANGEL: The folks at Comics Continuum
have obtained some photos from the first episode of ANGEL. "Deep Down" will kick off the season on Sunday, Oct. 6 in Angel's 9 p.m.
(ET/PT) time period.
FIREFLY: Have you all been over to http://www.fox.com/firefly/about.htm
yet? There are some terrific clips from the show and, I have to admit, I'm very curious about the show.
X-FILES: Moore Action Collectibles announced that it is canceling its anticipated line of The X-Files action figures, because the company does not believe the market remains strong enough to support the line in light of the show's cancellation.
SECTION 31: One of the biggest and most successful Trek web sites, SECTION 31, has announced they are shutting down due
to lack of funds. Section 31 has been running since 1998 and has been providing STAR TREK fans with many exclusives as wellas
finding some of the hottest gossip first.
Thursday, August 29: ALIAS: Alias kicks off its second season Sept. 29 in its regular 9 p.m. Sunday timeslot. New this year will be more gadgets
and guest stars, according to co-star Kevin Weisman. Rock star David Bowie may make an appearance this year, joining a list of stellar
guests from last season that included Quentin Tarantino. "In this last episode, we've created a luge that Sydney [Jennifer Garner] has
to ride through a kind of ... ice field. It's a luge that goes over 150 mph, and that's pretty cool. And some retinal scanners we just used.
There's a lot of good stuff coming up."
CONJOSE: Patrick Stewart will make an appearance at ConJose on Aug. 30 at 7:30 PM. Stewart's appearance, sponsored
by Paramount Pictures, is open to full attending and Friday-only members of this year's Worldcon. Stewart will preview his upcoming
films X2, the sequel to last year's X-Men, and the next Trek movie, Star Trek: Nemesis, which opens Dec. 13.
SPIDER-MAN 2: Rumors are afloat about the coming sequel to SPIDERMAN. Superman Hype reported today that Spider-Man
2 starts filming in January, in California, New York and France. Doc Ock will be featured as the villain. Curt Connors will appear but not
as the Lizard. And, they have approached Stellan Skarsgard (Good Will Hunting, Deep Blue Sea) to play Doc Ock.
SWAT: This remake of a TV series is building steam. Renner Clark Johnson (TV’s THE WIRE, THE SHIELD) has been added to
the cast, along with Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell (MINORITY REPORT) and Jeremy Renner (now out in DAHMER). The movie tells
the story of a S.W.A.T. team who is transporting a drug runner who has posted $100 million to anyone who can break him out of police custody. Jackson, Farrell and now Renner will play officers on the team which gets attacked. Farrell and Renner will play friends who
become enemies.
BUFFY: Everyone has been speculating as to whether Faith would return to BUFFY and/or ANGEL again. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Eliza Dushku has signed on for five episodes of "Buffy" and three episodes of the WB Network's spinoff "Angel."
ENTERPRISE: Over at TrekWeb, you can find
new pictures from season two's premiere episode SHOCKWAVE, PART II. There are also interviews with John Billingsley, who talks
about what season two will bring for Dr. Phlox. Anthony Montgomery also in on board to talk about MINEFIELD, an episode that will
test Mayweather's piloting skills.
CODY BANKS: Remember the site of "The Gathering" -- where JMS showed the first clips from LEGEND OF THE RANGERS
in Vancouver? I do. Simon Fraser University was a perfect setting and this summer, portions of the University were transformed
into CIA Headquarters for the MGM film, "Agent Cody Banks". The set was designed by Austin Powers production designer Rusty Smith. The MGM film stars Frankie Muniz, Cynthia Stevenson, Judge Reinhold, Martin Henderson, Ian McShane, Arnold Vosloo, Hilary Duff, and Angie Harmon and was directed by Harald Zwart. The entire set was created with friction fittings, and the new walls matched the original concrete
so well that only the designer knew which was which at first glance. For pictures of the transformation, go to http://www.reg.sfu.ca/ps/codybanks.html.
BIRDS OF PREY: There are some gorgeous photos of the cast of BIRDS OF PREY at http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0208/29/index.htm.
MUTANT X: Production on season two is in full swing. Over at ComicContinuium, there are photos from the season
two opener, "Past as Prologue." On Sept. 30, we'll pick up where last season left off. Michael Easton will return as Gabriel Ashlocke for
three episodes, including the opener.
FREDDY VS JASON: Lauren Lee Smith from MUTANT X has joined the cast for the upcoming teen slasher epic, FREDDY VS.
JASON. "I'm going to play a character named Gibb,” Smith said. “Gibb is a really fun character. She's sort of this tomboy, a party girl,
really crazy and out there. And she doesn't quite make it. [My scenes] are actually at a rave. It should be a really, really fun part. I'm
really excited about it.”
SMALLVILLE: Do you want to join SMALLVILLE High School? Well over at http://www.smallvillehighschoolstore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv? you can pick up school jackets, hats, bookbags,
the works.
Wednesday, August 28: STARGATE: Good news for Bonnie Hammer and SCIFI. Their investment in STARGATE is showing some profit!
The Aug. 23 summer finale of STARGATE SG-1 attained a 2.0 rating (1.6 million households), becoming the network's first
original hour-long show to reach that benchmark. The finale beat all basic cable competition in its timeslot. STARGATE SG-1
has been pulling in solid numbers since it's debut on SCIFI on June 7. It has outperformed both UPN and The WB in several
key demographics, including persons 18-49, persons 25-54, men 18-34, men 18-49, men 25-54 and women 25-54. SCI FI will
begin airing episodes from the first five seasons of the series in a weekly four-hour block Mondays at 7 p.m. ET/PT, starting
Sept. 30. All new episodes will resume in January.
RATINGS: Top 10 SF Syndicated Series: 3rd Rock 2.3; Buffy 2.3; Andromeda 2.1; The X-Files 2.1; Beastmaster 1.9;
John Edward 1.9; Mutant X 1.9; Stargate SG-1 1.9; Relic Hunter 1.6, and Earth: Final Conflict 1.3. Source: Nielsen Galaxy
Report, 7/29/02 - 8/4/02.
ALIAS: With the cliffhanging conclusion of the first season of ALIAS, everyone is patiently awaiting the confrontation
between Sydney and her long-lost Mom. This dynamic will change the course of the series. Lena Olin will join the series as Sydney's
mother. Ron Rifkin, who plays Sydney's villainous boss and surrogate father, Arvin Sloane, said "I think that the character of the
mother is a very complicated one, and her relationship with her daughter and her ex-husband is enormously complicated. And it's
so exciting. It's so rich. And Lena Olin is so brilliant. She's really brilliant." Alias will air Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
THE SIN EATER: Heath Ledger, who you will remember from KNIGHT'S TALE and THE PATRIOT, was out promoting one
of his upcoming films, THE SIN EATER. Ledger said in an interview, "A sin eater is usually a priest who has been excommunicated
from the church for whatever reason, and they would go around and seek out people on their deathbeds." Since they have been refused entrance into heaven, "...the sin eaters would perform ceremonies on these people on their deathbeds and eat their sins for a certain
price, for a small fortune, and gain them entrance to heaven. I play a priest who's in search of a sin eater I feel has killed my mentor. It's
a dark movie. It's a supernatural thriller-tragedy."
SMALLVILLE: What is in store for Clark Kent and SMALLVILLE this coming year? Writer/creators/producers Alfred Gough
and Miles Millar promise we'll get a look at Clark Kent’s origins even more than season one. Said Millar, “I think next season opens many
new areas for us which we can explore, and we're particularly interested in looking at Clark's origin and his continual journey of self-
discovery. I think over the course of the season, he'll really begin to understand where he comes from and what part he plays in the universe, in the grand scheme of things.” When will we see the "real" Lex Luthor? Said Gough, "We know where Lex's destiny eventually ends, so
I think that's something we're heading towards," Millar hinted, "his actual turn to full evilness will be a long way from now. There's definitely twists and turns. You're going to think he's turned, and he's not."
NEW COMIC BOOKS SOON: Avatar Press recently added TidalWave Studios’ titles to it roster and has acquired three MGM
properties -- ROBOCOP, STARGATE SG-1 and SPECIES. The comics should reach stores next year, and Christensen says there will
soon be preview artwork and more details.
VOYAGER: Kate Mulgrew's VOYAGER uniform brought $50,000 at a weekend auction to benefit husband Tim Hagan's
Democratic campaign for governor. Unfortunately, $2,500 is the limit for candidate contributions in Ohio, but the fund-raiser
Saturday netted $150,000 for Hagan's campaign against Republican incumbent Bob Taft. Most of the VOYAGER cast and William
Shatner turned up to help Hagan's cause.
AMAZING SPIDERMAN: I believe the next issue of Amazing Spiderman is on news stands today!
Tuesday, August 27: THRESHOLD: Teryl Rothery (Dr. Frasier on Stargate SG-1) recently took a break from the series and completed production
in Toronto on a new movie for the SCI FI Channel called THRESHOLD. There are a number of familiar faces in the film, including
Jamie Luner from Profiler, Nick Lea, Krycek from The X-Files, Steve Bacic from Andromeda and Stephen Cannell, a veteran TV
writer, has a little cameo. Rothery added, "Basically, it's about astronauts working one of the space stations when a meteor shower
hits. This one astronaut gets imbedded with some of the rocks, or so they think it is. And it ends up being this alien insect that
incubates in a human and [then] takes over the human, and they feed on other people." SCIFI will air the movie sometime during
2003.
SPIDER-MAN 2: Writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have very successfully created a new Superman environment with SMALLVILLE. Now they are about to embark on a new adventure - SPIDER-MAN 2! What lies ahead for Peter Parker? Gough said,
“That's really the story Sam wants to tell. You'll see him grow as a person, a superhero and in all his relationships.” Millar wanted to
assure fans that they have indeed done their SPIDERMAN homework. "We've read a lot of comics now and we've also read the
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN books” he said. “We have definitely done our homework.”
THEN CAME JONES: Writer Chris Brancato (FIRST WAVE, X-FILES) has joined Bert Salke in providing ABC with a midseason
pilot entitled THEN CAME JONES, The story centers in a 19th century frontier town and the imperfect man who, in a series of strange plot twists, becomes their sheriff. The show may also make use of gadgetry from the period.
CROSSING OVER WITH JOHN EDWARD: SCIFI's CROSSING OVER series will include a number of celebrities this coming year.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Edward will conduct at-home group readings with the stars, their friends and family. Backstreet
Boys A.J. McLean and Brian Littrell, Coolio and Jenny McCarthy have already taped their segments. ROSWELL's Katherine Heigl and Roma Downey of TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL. Next season, CROSSING OVER episodes will premiere in broadcast syndication before they air at
11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday on Sci Fi. The new season begins on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
MATRIX: Production has wrapped in Sydney on THE MATRIX: RELOADED and THE MATRIX: REVELATIONS. After more than
200 filming days, production will now pick up in San Francisco for a 70-day shoot for two major scenes. The Premier, Bob Carr, said
yesterday that the "giant undertaking" involved 800 full-time and 2500 part-time jobs over 18 months. There was work for 60 actors and 10,000 days' work for extras. "The Matrix producers say the contribution to the New South Wales economy exceeds $200 million."
Reloaded is set to release in the US next May with Revolutions following in November.
BIRDS OF PREY: Everyone is waiting to see what BIRDS OF PREY will be like as it premieres this year on The WB. Dina Meyer, who plays Oracle, talks to Prevue Magazine about the series, changes that
are taking place and how she got up to speed on this comic book adventure.
Monday, August 26: SMALLVILLE: There is a wonderful interview with Tom Welling over at SCIFI.COM today. You'll enjoy learning how Tom
left a very lucrative career as a model and jumped into the world of acting.
RATINGS: Top 10 SCIFI Channel Shows: Stargate SG-1 1.7; Dante's Peak 1.2; Farscape 1.1; Ice 1.0; Dead Zone 1.0;
Beyond Belief 1.0; Inferno 0.9; Vampires 0.9; Firestarter 0.8, and Center of the Earth, Pt. 2 0.7. Source: Nielsen Galaxy
Report, 7/29/02 - 8/4/02.
MACGYVER: Over at New Line Cinemas, MACGYVER is being dusted off for a trip to the big screen. If you are like me,
I loved Richard Dean Anderson (STARGATE) in that role. He hated guns, but came up with some of the most inventive ways to
escape the bad guys using the principles of high school chemistry and physics. No word as to whether RDA will be involved with
the project, but series creator Lee Zlotoff has been tapped to write, direct and produce the film.
WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Mel Gibson's SIGNS showed some staying power as it regained the #1 spot this weekend.

facility soon. Priestley has already had operations on his feet, back and face and is expected to make a full recovery.

DISCUSSION TOPIC:
Now that Babylon 5 has been gone from the regular airwaves for longer than we care to admit, what are you watching? Why?
Send in your responses to thezocalo@aol.com or b5@aol.com. I'll post them on the Discussion Page
later this week.
SEASON ONE BABYLON 5 DVDs
More site are beginning to carry information about the upcoming B5 DVD. This morning, there is an article in
Cinescape about the upcoming Season One DVD. Over at DVDFile, you'll find a tad more information. They
describe the offering as follows:
Also announced from Warner are details on the highly-anticipated Babylon 5: The Complete First Season - Signs and
Portents. Look for 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers, introduction and audio commentary by the series creator
J. Michael Straczynski (exact episodes not specified) and "The Making of Babylon 5: Season One" featurette. Retail is
$99.96 for the set.
Warner Home Video (R1) released a Flash presentation for the "B5" Season 1 DVDs. In addition to the extras that JMS
has already mentioned (2 episode commentaries, new cast and crew interviews as part of a new documentary, an
on-camera interview and on-camera introduction with JMS) the set will include the "Making of" documentary produced
for the Season 1 kick-off and hosted by Walter Koenig. Go to
http://www.whvdirect.com/babylon5/index.html to read more!
Here's an update from JMS on the DVD special items: The disk has an on-camera introduction by me (despite my warnings that this
would undoubtedly drive down sales), a letter of introduction each by me and
Doug Netter, and the half-hour piece features new interviews with Rick Biggs,
Stephen Furst, me, Doug, efx maven Mitch Suskin, makeup whiz John Vulich, and
others.
They're tentatively targeting next April for season 2, and the following November for season 3.
AWESOME! This is the cover artwork for the first season DVD for Babylon 5. I think it is outstanding
and can't wait to see it distributed in the US. Word is that the UK will get it first -- as usual -- on October 14.
GREAT PRICE: You can pre-order the Season 1 DVD over at www.amazon.com for $74.99. The release date for North America is November 5.
JMS has said that "Season One will be out in a boxed set this Fall, and they're going to be including at minimum two
commentaries from me, probably on Signs and Portents and Chrysalis (it's a matter of how much time and energy I
can give to it given that there's no fees involved and I'm in the midst of Jeremiah), and if possible, Babylon Squared,
maybe Sky Full of Stars. They'd also like to film an on-camera intro by me (but I guess folks will buy it anyway, even
with that particular horror included).

UNIQUE CHARITY ITEM
Ten popular science fiction actors have donated their time, images and autographs for an exclusive photograph,
the proceeds of which will go to charity. For sale through the actors themselves and at , the limited-edition
photo is in color, edged in white and ready to place in an 11X14 frame, and handsigned. Each of the 1,000 limited
edition photos comes embossed with a seal of authenticity and numbered. The photograph is now available for a
pre-sale price of $100. After Sept 11, 2002, the price will go up to at least $125.00. Among the charities to
benefit will be the Penny Lane home for abused children in Los Angeles, and various September 11 funds. The
actors hope to raise more than $100,000 through the charity project. The Penny Lane Home is a residential facility
for children who have been severely abused, physically, emotionally and sexually. Many have "fallen through the
cracks" of the social service outreach programs, and Penny Lane is their last chance at escaping the abuse.
Actors in the photo include: Patricia Tallman, known best for her roles as Lyta Alexander in Babylon 5 and
Barbara in Night of the Living Dead (1990) Vaughn Armstrong, who has portrayed more guest star aliens on Star
Trek:TNG, DS9 and Voyager than any other actor in Star Trek history. Currently, he holds the recurring role of
Admiral Maxwell Forrest on Enterprise, as well as at least eight other Guest Starring roles on board the new
Trek series to date. Stephen Austin portrayed many bizarre alien creatures on Babylon 5. His most notable was
the lovable Pak'ma'ra Ambassador. David Brooks is an accomplished artist as well as actor. He is best known
to the sci fi community as Max Eilerson on the Babylon 5 spin off, Crusade. Jeffrey Willerth portrayed
Ambassador Kosh and was Associate Producer of Babylon 5 Robin Atkin Downes, best known for his role of Byron
in Babylon 5 Carrie Dobro, Dureena Nafeel in Crusade. Tim Choate was extremely popular on B5 as Zathras (and
his brothers, all named Zathras). He also portrayed Pollack on Crusade. Beata Pozniak appeared as Babylon 5's
Earth Alliance President Luchenko. Ed Wasser, the evil Mr. Morden on Babylon 5.
As a special promotion, the first 100 orders will receive a special gift: former Star Trek stunt coordinator, Dennis
Madalone, has donated 100 copies of his single, "America, We Stand As One," to say thank you to the science fiction
fans who purchase the charity photograph. To order the photo online, go to http://www.thegalacticgateway.com,
click on shop, and search on the word charity.

COMIC BOOK WORLD
AMAZING SPIDERMAN: Issue #44 is on news stands now. There are some page previews from the issue over at
http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0208/23/marvelfirsts.htm.
RISING STARS: #19
The latest issue is on stands now. For reviews of the book, go to http://www.zentertainment.com/comicreviews.php?op=showcontent&id=470.
SPOILER INFORMATION BELOW:
The government's come up with a Special weapon that eliminates our heroes' powers, forcing most of them into hiding. But as there's another three issues before this series concludes, it's doubtful they'll stay in hiding for long.
Speaking of RISING STARS, Volume #1 of the series has been out for a while. Volume #2 is now available. If you missed
any of the single issues of the series, you'll want to pick up the graphic novels that include 8 issues in a single bound copy.
SCI FI PUBLICATIONS
TV Zone #154: ALIAS is the cover story this month. You'll find a complete and comprehensive guide to season one inside.
Also in this issue, hear executive producer Marti Noxon talk about season six and the upcoming season of BUFFY.
Starburst Special #53: Special Slayer Issue! For Buffy and Angel fans, this is the issue you'll just have to own.
Inside you'll find a season-by-season guide for both series -- plus an interview with Alexis Denisof (Wesley) as
he looks back on Season Three and hints at what is head for this year.
Expose #71: You may recognize Nicole de Boer in her new role as Sarah Bannerman in the new series
DEAD ZONE. Her previous credential include DEEP SPACE NINE - yes Dax. You'll also find an interview
with Mel Gibson as he talks about his latest movie, SIGNS, and WITCHBLADE's David Chokachi looks at
his character and where he could be headed.
Starburst #289: What lies ahead for us as the new season approaches? What will Buffy & Angel have to offer?
Will BIRDS OF PREY be a good representation of the comic book? Also the magazine looks at upcoming movies,
like DAREDEVIL. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner should make an interesting match!
Cult Times #83: Majandra Delfino, Maria from ROSWELL, talks about her time on the show. Farscape's newcomer,
Raelee Hill, joins the Moya crew as technical genius Sikozu and Gordon Michael Woolvett foreshadows what will be
happening to Harper this year on ANDROMEDA.
TV Zone Special #46: It's about time Stargate SG-1 started getting some respect and the press it has deserved
for quite some time! In this special issue, the magazine talks to all the cast members, looks at production
design, make-up and stunts. There is also interviews with Tony Amendola, Carmen
argenziano and Peter Stebbings (yes you know him from Jeremiah now!).
BABYLON 5 BOOK OF QUOTES
For all those who submitted quotes and experiences to the Babylon 5 Book of Quotes, word from JMS is that
the book, plus emails and suggestions, is being compiled now, and they're targeting February, the 10th anniversary
of B5, for the publication date.
Here's a note from JMS regarding an upcoming project:
It had to happen sooner or later...with so many message boards and posts asking
"What's your favorite B5 quote?" a book of Babylon 5 quotes was inevitable.
So "But In Purple I'm Stunning: Quotations from Babylon 5" is coming out from
an independent publisher later this year. The book will also contain sections
dedicated to fan choices for best/favorite quote. Fans of Babylon 5 are
invited to send in their favorite quote, and why it's a favorite. The best of
these emails will be culled for the book, and along the way this will determine
the #1 favorite quote.
In particular, the book will be looking for anecdotes/stories from fans about
what a given quote, or what the show, meant to them in particular. There are a
lot of people who have found comfort or meaning in the show, or found it helped
them get through some of life's problems. (An example I sometimes cite at
conventions was the young man dying of aids who asked his sister to put all of
G'Kar's speeches about hope and never giving up on tape so he could listen to
them at his bedside.)
It needn't be a heavy story, just one that has meaning for the person involved,
can be a funny story, whatever. Basically the goal is to find the intersection
where the show and its message and its words touched people.
All contributions will be considered free to use by virtue of being submitted
for this project.
So if you have such an anecdote/story/message about a favorite quote or the
show in general, send it to the following address (rather than replying to
this, since I'll just have to forward it on in any event):

READER DIRECTORY
Sometimes you just can't find the e-mail address for someone you know you have -- it's someone who responded
to a discussion topic or you met in one of the chat rooms. You'd like to send a personal note, but .... No

We've started a White Pages of Zocalo Readers! It's a handy way of keeping track of people -- and putting together
a birthday/greeting card list as well. If you would like to be part of the listing, just send me your name,
state, e-mail address and (if you'd like to have it listed) birthday (without year) to sgbruckner@aol.com.
Check out the Directory of Readers.

BABYLON 5 REFERENCE PAGES
The Official Babylon 5 Magazine is indexed here as well. With the closure of the magazine in May, you'll want
to see which magazines you have -- and which ones you will want to collect. The index may help you make a decision
on which ones to choose. The Fan Club has many of the issues at thestation.com ,
making it very easy to complete your collection.
Universe Today -- the Babylon 5 Fan Club quarterly can also be found here. The index gives you a
rundown of what articles were presented, what interviews published.
If you have magazines that have featured Babylon 5 or Crusade that are not listed, send along their issue
number and a note to indicate what the article was about. It would be nice to have a fairly comprehensive
listing of Babylon 5 publications here.
I have added a listing of all the Babylon 5 novels and now the B5 comic books to the reference page. If there
are other items that you feel should be included, let me know.

current scheduling and events happening in the community related to B5. You'll also be subscribed to the list
itself, which means that you'll receive email when there is a scheduling change or critical information needs to
go out to you (for example, if we need to start another mailing campaign).

MAIL FOR CAST AND CREW
Here's a recent note from JMS on the subject:
Just an FYI to those who've been using the Ventura Blvd. mail drop for fan mail
to actors....
As mentioned before, we're phasing out the forwarding of fan mail because we a)
don't have the resources, complicated by b) the actors have scattered to the
four winds, and it makes it very difficult to get everything to everybody in a
timely fashion.
So, having provided prior notice...fan mail to actors coming to the Ventura
Blvd. mail drop will be sent back. Mail to actors should be sent via their
official fan clubs. I will still be taking mail there, since it's my mailbox,
but that's it.
Just so's y'all know and save a few bucks on postage and returns.
