Season Two Poster that hung in Doug Netter's office at Babylonian Productions.
River of Souls poster from Doug Netter's office.
Just to let folks know it's coming out next week. I think this one's the best of the bunch so far, and a LOT happens and gets revealed.
There is more on "Rising Stars" in the JMS Speaks section.
Just got a note from a reader indicating that Everything B5 is now out of #597.
I see they also have the Babylon 5 2000 calendar!
Some of us have put together a B5 Poll Site, http://57132117.home.icq.com/B5pollpage4.htm, and a Crusade Poll Site, http://57132117.home.icq.com/Crpollpage.html .
There are now two for Crusade and two for Babylon 5 from us plus links to four outside polls. This is open to the whole B5 community.
The Deja polls rate Crusade and B5. Thanks to our community, they are now 1 and 2 in the Sci-Fi ratings.
You can suggest topics and question and vote for future ones. We are also looking for links.
Give us your opinion, thanks
Another chat is starting up at Groucho's Yahoo Club site. The chat there begins at 5:30pm ET on Sunday. Groucho's is a good place to drop over and chat anytime. I've found a pretty good group of people there at lunchtime (12pm EST).
"Over at Firstones.com , the webmasters and other fans have decided that convincing Codemasters to buy B5: ITF may be our last chance to save the game, and we are begining to run out of time. In order to show Codemasters how beneficial a purchase of ITF would be, we have begun a massive email campaign to show our support of ITF and Codemasters. So far, there are over 1000 emails ( and thats just in the past few days) and we are going to try to reach 2000 or so before monday, which is when there is a meeting at Codemasters discussing ITF status.
If we can show Codemasters how many people are interested in this game we will likely save the game. So this is possibly endgame, because if we get the game picked up soon, then the game will be saved, but if not, then we probably won't see it finished.
We will succeed!

Thanks for your time"
If you have magazines that have featured Babylon 5 or Crusade that are not listed, send along their issue number and a note to indicate what the article was about. It would be nice to have a fairly comprehensive listing of Babylon 5 publications here.
Hi, Sandy,
Jason Carter will appear in the episode "Eleven Angry Men & One Dick" of the show "3rd Rock From the Sun" on February 18. Here on the East Coast it runs at 6 PM daily.
I usually post Jason Carter's upcoming TV appearances on the forum at his fanclub (www.jasoncarterfanclub.com) or at the Jason Carter/Marcus Cole Forum of Fans (www.InsidetheWeb.com/messageboard/mbs.cgi/mb64370) - just in case any of his fans haven't found those sites yet.
Thanks,
Marlies Singh
Hi, Sandy!
Mike Vejar directed last night's (2/9/00) episodes of BOTH "Seven Days" and "Voyager"! "Seven Days" was by far one of their best episodes, stylish and creative! Great work!
Hi Sandy:
Had a B5 sighting the other day. I was watching the 1985 movie "Weird Science" (Anthony Michael Hall, etc) and spotted Robert Rusler as one of the high school kids in the movie. He had a few lines and played along side Robert Downy, jr. as one of the "in-crowd" teens.
Hi Sandy,
In Sunday's (02/06/00) X-Files, Mark Rolston, who played Karl Mueller in the Eps "The Quality Of Mercy" pn1117,tn212 was featured as Mr.Lapaire...the grief stricken father of an abucted little girl. It's a two parter so he'll be in this Sunday's(02/13/00) show.
Also,I've seen Mary Jo Slater's CSA credit on some...that is one, show recently but I can't recall the show. Sorry.
oops,webtv!!!!!
Ranger Bill
Sandy,
Did you realize that Claudia Christian will be on a Family Law (CBS)next Mon., Feb. 14 at 10:00? I watched that show last
night for the first time and caught the previews for next week...and there she was. It looks like she plays a father (!!!)
who has had a sex change operation and is fighting for custody of her/his child. I was so surprised to see her that I'm
not sure that I caught the premise right!
Ranger Dave reports: Friday, Jan. 29th. Londo was on a new episode of Sliders. He wasn't mentioned in your earlier news of B5 cast members..
MSilva reports: "I thought i saw Jerry Doyle in a recent episode of Beverly Hills 90210 as a father of a date with one of the lead female characters."
Ranger Bill reports: I failed to mention that on last weeks premier episode of The WB's new show "Brutally Normal", Raymond O'Conner "Mack" in the eps "A View From The Gallery" pn 505,had a bit part as the school principal...he was not in tonight's show.
Ranger Helen asks: Beata Pozniak (President Luchenko) was supposed to be on "Mad About You" last night. I forgot to watch it. Did anybody else see it?
This section has a lot of information, directly from JMS. Read about working with WB in the early days of the show; his upcoming "Amazing Stories" short story and production of "Rising Stars". What does he think of Jerry's upcoming campaign? Check out the latest in the JMS Speaks section.
Michael O'Hare will be appearing in an upcoming "Law and Order" episode entitled "Black, White and Blue". It began filming this week, so we can start looking for it in about 6 weeks.
Jason Carter has come out with a second, expanded edition of his poetry. This edition includes photos from Jason's own collection as well as his unpublished poems. You can order a copy at Pipeline Productions.
Maggie Egan, ISN Anchorperson, has a new CD out entitled "Maggie Egan - Out of this World." The CD is a collection of swing era songs, done with a sci-fi touch, all with celestial titles (Blue Moon, I've Got the World on a String, etc.). You can listen to a sample at http://www.newbeacon.com". I particularly liked the parody song Maggie has out as "Maggie's Crusade".
"A Piece of Eden" (formerly entitled "13") featuring Andreas Katsulas premieres on Friday in St. Louis. MO. Andreas will be appearing in St. Louis for the next couple of days, speaking at St. Louis University Thursday and radio and television interviews Friday. For those lucky enough to be in St. Louis to hear Andreas, he will be speaking about the impact of acting on his life and this movie. Director John Hancock will also be speaking. For more information, go to http://www77.pair.com/timem/katsulas/.
Bruce Boxleitner just finished an exhausting book signing tour in England and Ireland, January 24-February 2. Bruce's book, "Frontier Earth", has an interesting story! There are several reviews of the book listed on the Amazon site and a new review over at Cinescape..
Found a great site with photos from nearly every signing Bruce conducted on the tour. Great pictures at Signing Tour.
Ranger Anthony reports:
I saw Bruce Boxleitner in London last week where he was signing his new book at a shop called "Forbidden Planet". The
fact that the show still has a following in the U.K. is indicated by the fact that the queue was long. So long that I
had to opt out of the queue when I was about 10 people away from him as I had to leave to attend a business meeting !
Never mind I'm sure I'll catch up with him soon at another signing.
Ranger Steve reports:
I was at his book signing in Norwich, England yesterday. It was great. I'll give you a full report later on on
what was said, but he was told to ring his agent during the Q&A session and he was offered to do an "Outer Limits"
episode, and he agreed. So that's straight from the horses mouth yesterday, official news. He said Melissa did
one a while back and enjoyed it.
**The episode of "Outer Limits" in which Bruce will star begins filming on February 17.
*** Ranger Debra reports that Bruce will be playing a presidential candidate in the episode.
TV Zone #123 - Are you interested in visual effects or fantasy art? Then here's an issue for you. Wayne Barlowe, the
artist who brought the creepy creatures in "Thirdspace" to life is interviewed in this issue. The sketches showing his
early perception of what was needed in this TV movie are awesome.
TV Zone Special Issue #36 - Bruce Boxleitner talks about his new book, "Frontier Earth", his work on the B5 CD-ROM "Into the Fire", shooting the final episode of Babylon 5, "Sleeping in Light" and a lot of other topics.
