She is doing a reading of one of my short stories on Sunday around noon-ish.
She hopes to autograph after my reading, and have scripts available for sale."
Just to let folks know it's coming out next week. I think this one's the best of the bunch so far, and a LOT happens and gets revealed.
There is more on "Rising Stars" in the JMS Speaks section.
Just got a note from a reader indicating that Everything B5 is now out of #597.
I see they also have the Babylon 5 2000 calendar!
Mike has also been doing a lot of very nifty things over at About.com. This week he has a profile of Susan Ivanova; last week it was Jeffrey Sinclair. Both are detailed and very nicely done. Hope you'll drop over to see Mike's place. Use this link to read the Susan Ivanova Profile While there, try out the Babylon 5 Trivia. It's pretty nifty.
Guess what? Starland DOES have a Babylon 5 person coming to the convention. Stephen Austin, yes our favorite Pak'Ma'Ra is joining the convention in April.
MAGELLAN -- Richard Hatch is putting together a new series entitled "Magellan". He will be showing a clip from this series at VisionCon this month. Richard had been trying to bring back "Battlestar Galactica" but has been tied up in rights. From the reaction of the fans to his initial "BG" footage at DragonCon last year, let's hope "Magellan" gets off the ground.
Some of us have put together a B5 Poll Site, http://57132117.home.icq.com/B5pollpage4.htm, and a Crusade Poll Site, http://57132117.home.icq.com/Crpollpage.html .
There are now two for Crusade and two for Babylon 5 from us plus links to four outside polls. This is open to the whole B5 community.
The Deja polls rate Crusade and B5. Thanks to our community, they are now 1 and 2 in the Sci-Fi ratings.
You can suggest topics and question and vote for future ones. We are also looking for links.
Give us your opinion, thanks
Another chat is starting up at Groucho's Yahoo Club site. The chat is scheduled for the first Sunday of each month beginning at 5:30pm ET on Sunday. Groucho's is a good place to drop over and chat anytime. I've found a pretty good group of people there at lunchtime (12pm EST).
If you have magazines that have featured Babylon 5 or Crusade that are not listed, send along their issue number and a note to indicate what the article was about. It would be nice to have a fairly comprehensive listing of Babylon 5 publications here.
John Vickery (Neroon, Mr. Welles) had a small part as a lawyer in last night's episode of Judging Amy.
Hi, Sandy,
Jason Carter will appear in the episode "Eleven Angry Men & One Dick" of the show "3rd Rock From the Sun" on February 18. Here on the East Coast it runs at 6 PM daily.
I usually post Jason Carter's upcoming TV appearances on the forum at his fanclub (www.jasoncarterfanclub.com) or at the Jason Carter/Marcus Cole Forum of Fans (www.InsidetheWeb.com/messageboard/mbs.cgi/mb64370) - just in case any of his fans haven't found those sites yet.
Thanks,
Marlies Singh
Hi, Sandy!
Mike Vejar directed last night's (2/9/00) episodes of BOTH "Seven Days" and "Voyager"! "Seven Days" was by far one of their best episodes, stylish and creative! Great work!
Hi Sandy:
Had a B5 sighting the other day. I was watching the 1985 movie "Weird Science" (Anthony Michael Hall, etc) and spotted Robert Rusler as one of the high school kids in the movie. He had a few lines and played along side Robert Downy, jr. as one of the "in-crowd" teens.
