HOUR 25 POSTERS AT EBAY
Christy Marx she is auctioning signed Hour 25 posters over on ebay. The signatures are Harlan Ellison, JMS, Larry DiTillio and Peter Ledger. The URL is http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=208674561 . For those of you unfamiliar with Hour 25, it was a radio program JMS and others did a few years back -- mainly a talk-show, but with a science fiction content. A good friend sent me a couple of tapes from the show where JMS and Kathryn (Drennan) interviewed people with Larry DiTillio in the wings! It was great! (THANKS STEPHEN!)
PS Christy Marx started the first Babylon 5 newsletter!
TRADING POST ITEMS
There are some rather nice pices of merchandise in our Trading Post. Ranger Larry notified us that he's got a rare piece up for sale on ebay -- an Issue #1 of the Official Babylon 5 Magazine, and he's loaded it with signatures! Check it out!

NEW CCG CARDS OUT - SEVERED DREAMS
Ranger Charles reports that the new Precedence CCG set "Severed Dreams" is out. It reflects the 'alternate' 'Captain' Sinclair universe -- what the story might have been had he continued on as Commander of Babylon 5. 'He has high Diplomacy(7), and Intrigue and Leadership on par with Sheridan(2 for Intrigue, 4 for Leadership.) The picture used is of Sinclair in his dress uniform, and the lighting used actually makes him look a bit older. The bottom caption reads: " Jeffrey Sinclair believed strongly in the mission of Babylon 5. What might have happened if he had continued as commander of the station?"' Thanks Charles for the report!

SCI FI CHANNEL - SEEING EAR THEATRE
It had been a while since I'd visited the Seeing Ear Theatre so I thought I'd go to see what was new and different there. Wow, it's great. They have added all sorts of new works, making it an even more fabulous place to visit. Whether listening to one of the classics, an original drama like Neil Gaiman's "Murder Mysteries" or a couple of works featuring B5 personalities like "George and the Red Giant" or "Think Like a Dinosaur", you're in for a treat. The Seeing Ear Theatre brings you some of the best science fiction available!

We have some interesting items in The Trading Post now from Jason Carter and Michael O'Hare. So check it out!
If you have items you'd like to trade, post a note here. You never know who might respond. Use this link to see what is already out to trade. Trading Post. To have items included in The Trading Post, send a note to The Zocalo. Please put Trading Post in the subject line.
TRADING PARTNERS: Here's a suggestion for those of you in the US or abroad that find it's really hard to get your hands on Babylon 5 merchandise -- whether it's magazines or whatever. Why not find yourself a trading partner! For example, I have a great friend in the UK -- Mark -- who helps me with all the magazines published in the UK that feature B5 or Crusade! He sends me the magazines and in exchange, I send him things he can't get in England -- like the trading cards or the novels or the "Rising Stars" comic books! There are a lot of things that you can exchange -- and it's FUN too!
For readers in Canada, visit the Babylon 5 Information Page http://www.interlog.com/~schrist/b5/ for the latest on Crusade and Babylon 5
The lucky folks in Bellingham, WA will begin viewing Crusade on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 9pm. It's available via Roger's Basic Cable out of Vancouver, Canada.
Channel Nine in Australia will begin showing "Crusade" on September 30.
Norway's TV2 has purchased the rights to "Crusade". No air date has been announced.
Ranger Deiter reports that "Crusade" began airing in South Africa last week. That's wonderful. They have never seen Babylon 5, however, so it might be interesting to learn what they think of the series.

8 am ET/PT "Rising Star"
December 11

The Zocalo is a moderated mailing list -- which means that no one can post to the listing but me! Sorry about that -- that's why you receive an error when you try responding to a note regarding The Zocalo. It's one of the restrictions I've run into when using e-groups.com. It prevents responses from rippling through the group, but forces you to do a new e-mail message when you want to respond to a topic or send in information.
Thank you for your support. Be sure to bookmark this page so that you can return often to see if anything new has been added. The new buttons will help you move around the various parts of the newsletter. The subscription listing will be for reminders of things coming up -- and to highlight changes at The Zocalo. This is not the old Zocalo -- where everything was in the e-mail message delivered to you. That's what made it too long and prevented you from enjoying it more. The new version of the Z is short and to the point!
If you would like to write something -- like a book review -- for placement in The Zocalo, drop me a line and let's talk. I'm at bruckner@isnnews.net or The Zocalo.
Take care and I look forward to hearing from you.
