BURBANK, CA (December 20, 2004) - On January 18th, Kung Fu fanatics will be able to add to their collection with
the release of Kung Fu: The Complete Second Season from Warner Home Video (WHV). Fans will follow the heroic
adventures of Kwai Chang Caine, played by David Carradine (Kill Bill Vol. 1 & Vol. 2) and hear from special guests
including Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill) and Michael Madsen (Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs). The 4-disc box set will be available
on DVD for $39.98 SRP.
He is a man of peace in a violent land. He is Kwai Chang Caine, schooled in the spirit-mind-body ways of the Shaolin
priesthood by the blind avuncular Master Po and the stern, yet loving, Master Kan. Caine speaks softly but he hits
hard. He lives humbly, yet knows great contentment. He is the Old West's most unusual hero.
"With the tremendous success of the first season of Kung Fu, Warner Home Video is excited to bring fans another
installment of one of the greatest martial arts series of all time," said Christine Martinez, WHV Vice President,
Non-theatrical Franchise Marketing.
Kwai Chang Caine first journeyed into our living rooms on October 14, 1972, and from there, the series grew in
popularity to heroic proportions. Certainly, much credit for the show's three-year run goes to the remarkable
cast whose characters managed to endure a bevy of obstacles ranging from physical battles to the endearing
lessons of life. Featured performances were made by Carradine, Keye Luke (Master Po), Philip Ahn (Master
Kan) and Radames Pera (Young Caine), who all helped make this series compelling to viewers week after week
and garnered multiple Emmy Award awards and Golden Globe nominations.
DVD Special Features Include Two never-before-seen original documentaries:
· "Zen and Now: A dinner with David Carradine and Friends"
· Audio Commentary by David Carradine on two episodes: " the Well" and "the Chalice"
