REVIEW:
This work of a young George Lucas shows how talented he is -- and his power of story telling is amazing.
I watched the documentary on Disk #2 last night. It is absolutely wonderful -- perhaps worth the cost of the
DVD itself. It chronicles the early career of France Ford Coppola and George Lucas and provides some amazing
background for their film careers -- their struggle to bring new material to an industry that was basically over 50
years old -- and set in a pattern of film making. With the success of EASY RIDER, new avenues were opened for
young filmmakers. George and Frances seized the moment and created film history. Though their approaches
are totally different, the love for film making will inspire.
